Literature in the community
The event archive includes literary encounters in Aracataca, poetry and conversations about García Márquez. These are occasions where the town’s cultural connections become shared experiences.
The Melquíades procession
Gatherings around the symbolic tombstone for Melquíades connect a fictional character with a real place. Photographs from the collection record the community encounters around that project.
Plan around your interests
If a particular cultural experience interests you, ask Tim about your dates and what may be possible. Programs, contributors and visit arrangements are confirmed individually.
